Partner in Ministry, Life Membership, Love Gift, and Memorials

Download buttonThe giving of Partner in Ministry, Life Memberships, Memorials, and Love Gifts should be encouraged for two reasons. They provide a way of honoring special people who have contributed significantly to ARPWM, Presbyterials, or to local women’s ministries; and they are a valuable source of income to fulfill our commitments to the budget.

Guidelines:

  • Partner in Ministry honors shall be a minimum of $100
  • Life Memberships shall be $75.00 minimum
  • Memorials and Love Gifts shall be $30 minimum
  • Each certificate is given to an individual. Should you wish to honor a married couple there should be two certificates, etc, not one.

Partner in Ministry:

A Partner in Ministry honors shall recognize any person (male or female) who has contributed in a significant way to the work of Women’s Ministries on the Local, Presbytery, or ARP WM level. A Partner in Ministry pin and certificate are presented to the recipient. They are given once.

Life Membership:

A Life Membership shall honor an ARP WM member who has contributed in an outstanding way to the work of the church on a Local, Presbytery, or ARP WM level. A Life Membership pin and certificate are presented to the recipient. They are given once to an individual.

Love Gift:

A Love Gift shall be given to show love and appreciation to an individual (male or female) and may be given more than once. A certificate will be presented to the recipient.

Memorials:

A Memorial shall be given to honor the memory of a faithful church member (male or female). A certificate is provided for the local church to give to the family.

These awards are channeled through the local treasurer who then forwards the information to the Presbytery Treasurer. The Presbytery Treasurer or Historian will be responsible for the certificates returning to the local church.

A list of recipients of the various awards for your Presbytery year will be forwarded to the ARP WM Historian who will compile the information for The ARP magazine.
