Freedom Bridge Mission need for materials

Updated 4/27/2011

The Rev. Don Jordan, 73, pastor of the Christ Church, ARP, in Southern Pines, NC, and the Freedom Bridge Mission Church in Wagram, NC, passed away this morning (April 27) at CMC in Charlotte following a massive stroke.

A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, April 30, at the Village Chapel Church in Pinehurst, NC.  The time of the service has not been established, but I will let you know as soon as the plans are complete.

Here’s some information about a special opportunity to reach out to one of our Mission Churches

Don Jordan at the Freedom Bridge Mission reports:

we have a seminary extension program in which we have had over 300 inmates participate, so we need all the help we can get. Dictionaries, concordances, Bible encyclopedias, commentaries, Bible study helps, Study Bibles and the like especially, Greek and Hebrew helps as well.

In addition to the advanced materials he lists, he indicates “we can use it all, send everything and we will put it to good use” so my Sunday School class is collecting the Adult Quarterly when we finish each quarter and we are sending those plus any other materials we come across. Find whatever you can send and send it on over! This is recycling at its best.
